Patterns
I love capturing patterns, sometimes because they're so delicious all on their own, but eventually they'll find their way into some other layered application. I am continually amazed at how subtle (or not) an effect they can have when layered into Photoshop images. I used a number of layered patterns in the Movie and Window Design files, as well as enjoying repeatable fiber designs.
Please notice the twisted images of Bangkok street scenes combined with the ceiling shot of the Ayia Sophia mosque in Istanbul.
Below the apartments with their dish receptors form another mossy repeatable file. It would be great as a layer affecting some other image, or as a printed bolt of fabric.
