As a fiber artist, I’ve been working under a nagging sense that I don’t fit politely into the mold.  There is a pervasive feel that artist must have a “cohesive body of work”, meaning one style. But that has always felt wrong for me.  Who wants to turn away from a challenge?

When I started to pursue my Graphic Design degree, I realized that this was a place where the chameleon was valued.  It was not only appropriate, but critical to feel comfortable in a variety of media, a variety of themes.

So, here I am; confident in what I know, while still enjoying the challenges of learning more.
